Continental's Grand Prix 5000 road tire was designed to be the best all-around tire out there. This tire offers great puncture protection thanks to the Vectran Breaker as well as great cornering abilities with Continental's Lazer Grip. Those two features are paired with the famous Black Chili compound and Active Comfort Technology to keep the ride smooth and fast. All those features together make a really great tire.

Been using Continental tires on my bikes for years. The Continental Grand Prix 5000 Road Tire is at least a step up or more than the Continental tires that came on my bike when I purchased my bike. The tire that came on my bike is also a Continental but made in China. The Continental Grand Prix 5000 Road Tire is made in Germany. Another nice feature is the tire is foldable.

Great road tire that works on a variety of pavement from rough to smooth. Corners well and tracks on straights easily. Expensive? Yes. But this tire is worth the money. Hard to say on longevity as that is still to be determined. But so far I am impressed and have ridden Conti’s for many years now.

Bought to replace my worn conti 4000. Very noticeable difference in volume and width for 700x25s, seem more like 23s to me. So far they ride nice.

These tires are the absolute best tubeless road tires I've ever used. They have such great traction and have lasted so far 1000 miles, no problems.

Tires are definitely fast but there is a huge trade-off in terms of puncture resistance. I put less than 1000 miles on these babies and I suffered a glass shard puncture that left me high and dry. The glass was big enough to compromise the tire so I had to junk it. Before this tire, I used gatorskin hardshells for years. Yeah, they are a slower and heavier tire but I never, I repeat, never had a flat in hardshells over thousands of miles.

The best overall tire, light weight, grips well in the rain and does well over the rough roads and potholes we have here. Last tire was replaced after it wore down, never got a flat. Been using them for years.
