Saddle styles have dramatically changed. Prologo's Dimension project is no exception to this snub-nose, wide-tailed saddle approach. It is all about comfort, performance, lightness and preventing perineal area problems. The project resulted in a saddle unlike anything Prologo had created. The saddle has a short nose (3+ cm shorter than a traditional saddle) to reduce contact and pressure in the frontal area, especially for low position riding, like riding in the drops. It also features a wide tail for improved stability, weight distribution and power transfer.

Features:

  • CPC Technology uses special 3D nano-polymer material on top of the saddle that provides higher grip, better airflow, and vibration absorption
  • Wide anatomical channel (PAS Technology) runs through the center of the saddle to reduce the contact of soft tissues and numbness
  • Injection carbon monocoque base

Prologo Dimension 143 CPC Saddle (Black) (Tirox Rails) (143mm)
I bought this to replace a Specialized Toupe 143 saddle that came with my 2009 Tarmac. I wasn't sure if the shorter seat would be comfortable, but I've got about 250 miles on the Prologo Saddle so far and have been very pleased with it. I expected more of a break-in period, but after only a few hours of riding it settled right in and I've got much less numbness than I had with the old saddle. Longest ride so far is 1 1/2 hours with no issues. The segmented padding seemed to make it easier to find the "sweet spot" for my sit bones.
