Got two, count 'em, TWO rides on these gorgeous tires before the sidewalls became discolored and blotchy, the beautiful cream color ruined by what appear to be reddish brown stains. Riding only on pristine roads in daylight, no rain, did not ride off-road or through any mud. Have no idea what's going on. Extremely disappointed. They seem to be very well made tires, except the sidewall just looks like hell. The tires are literally four days old and they look like they are 4 years old.

Only a few hundred miles down but even at my ability I can feel these are better than the original pair they replaced. Are they really that much better than a pair of Ultra Sports? Depending what you pay- maybe not so worth it for people like me if you expect roughly the same time between punctures and wear life. However, some of the best money you can spend on your bike is for good fast tires so in that sense I'm rather pleased with them. The cream sidewalls complement my bike rather nicely so that does also tilt my opinion. The appearance hasn't suffered from the elements and wear that badly in my experience but it does show grime pretty visibly. If you're like me you might feel motivated to clean your bike more frequently as a result.
